Olumo Rock is a natural wonder that has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nigeria.  This massive rock formation located in Abeokuta(Egba Land) has been a symbol of pride for Nigeria’s southwestern region’s people for generations. The name Olumo in the Yoruba language means “God molded it.” Historical narratives have it that the rock served as a refuge for the Egbas during times of war.
